Ritual Acquires Rights to Stefan Djordjevic's ‘Wind, Talk to Me’
Press release

Ritual has acquired the Canadian rights to Stefan Djordjevic's Rotterdam Tiger Competition feature Wind, Talk to Me, ahead of its North American premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival, where it won the Vanguard Award. The boutique film distribution company plans a theatrical release in select cities on April 3, 2026.

The Serbia-Croatia co-production has recently screened at the Chicago International Film Festival and was awarded the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Feature Film. It has also been presented at FID Marseille, New Horizons, IndieLisboa, and Munich IFF, and will soon feature at Montreal's RIDM.

"In the wake of death, the film finds light, breath, and movement. It's a testament to the courage of looking, of speaking to what's gone, and to the quiet miracle of what speaks back" says Olivia Courchesne, Creative Director at Ritual.

"I was struck by the sheer beauty of Stefan's film, one of the most salient docu-fiction I've ever seen. This is exemplary work with universal resonance, exactly the kind of film we want to propel into the future in our own humble way", adds William Gagnon, Head of Sales and Acquisitions at Ritual.

Ritual is Canada's only all-rights distribution company entirely dedicated to international festival discoveries, restored modern masterpieces, and bold contemporary films that challenge how we see. Athens-based Heretic handles international sales.
